Mint Hill Dance Center Company Competitive Team 

Mint Hill Dance Center's Competitive Team is in it's 13th year of competing in regional and national competitions. Our competitive team is for the dancer who wants to take his or her dance experience to a higher level. Our team members take 1.5 to 6 hours of technique classes a week, as well as a 3 hour rehearsal once a week. With our instructors experience in dance competitions, MHDC’s competition team standard is a leap above the rest. Competitions are a great way for a dancer to be challenged and witness the amazing ability of dancers who will also attend the competitions. In the past 13 years, our team of dancers have won awards such as highest award of the day, choreography awards, top awards of categories, specialty awards, and the award we hold highest at our studio, the Sportsmanship and Studio Excellence awards given to the studio with best behavior, encouragement, and kindness at competitions.

 

While we persue improvement and growth for our competitive season, our team also performs at local senior citizen events, local town events, and charity events focusing on our ability to give our art of dance to others.
